1. NSEPF has organized Free Health Check-up camps in the five villages of Manesar, Gurgaon, namely Basgaon, Kasan, Naharpur Kasan, Nawada Fatehpur, Bans Haria (Aliyar) under Aayusutra Project.
It was observed that many of the community persons has skin, eye and bone related problem which caused to them due to unhealthy practices, unhygienic living practices, unaware and ignorant behaviour of cleanliness lifestyle. Others were affected of environmental pollutions and irregular climate and seasonal changes. That has caused to them long time cold and cough related issues.
Approx 300 people were advised for further treatment and hospitals or surgeon.
Approx 550 patients who were suffering from high fever, cold and cough and sever body pain, who needed immediate medicine. NSEPF team on the recommendation of doctors provided immediate support and care which helped them instant relief.
Most of the patients were suffering with their disease due to their unhealthy and unhygienic life style and ignorant behaviour to the common diseases. Doctors and medical team has given very strong advises to take care of their health and leave and bad habits of smoking and drinking.
During the event approx. 1750 people got medical consultation and free of cost treatment to their respective disease. Such an event has provided a very big relief to the pocket of poor community, where at the present day, when a nominal medical consultation is being provided for a single disease is almost at Rs. 500/- at very normal hospital or day care doctor’s clinic, which does not include the cost of lab taste and much needed Medicines. It would cost more than Rs. 1,00,000 (approx.) in total to provide such supports additional, which would be burden to the pocket of poor person.
